9/23 Sengoku 10 - LIVE results

Wednesday, 23 September 2009

Been sick as a dog for a week now, and hence very few updates. Hopefully I can do something about that today, at least I will give you the live results from Saitama Community Centre.

It is a very good card, and the main event should draw a lot of judo fans to the arena. Hiroshi Izumi is making his debut.

The fight between Nick Thompson and Dan Hornbuckle should be very interesting, just to name one fight.

Opening fights:
1. Bantam: So Jee Hyun Def. Ryosuke Komori by Decision 3-0
2. Feather: Shigeki Osawa Def. Kim Ki Hyun by Decision 3-0
3. Light: Ikuo Usuda Def. Baek Woo Hyun TKO Round 1 by 4:59

Main-Card:
4. Light: Maximo Blanco Def. Tetsuya Yamada by TKO Round 2 1:12
5. Middle: Joe Doerksen Def. Takenori Sato by TKO Round 2 4:27

7. Light-Heavy: Fabio Silva Def. Ryo Kawamura by TKO Round 1 2:28

*Big KO, I hope Schultz is ok. Yokota should be on his way to a title fight and a re-match with champion Hirota
