6/1 ShootBoxing Champions Carnival - RESULTS *UPDATED*

ShootBoxing is having their Champions Carnival in Korakuen Hall now. It is a very interesting card, and lots of good fighters on it.

Mamoru has had his 3rd ShootBoxing fight, and the Shooto ledgend has now put himself in title contention by defeating the #1 ranked Nagurachun M16.

We also have new West Pacific Welterweight and Super-Welterweight champions!

*UPDATE*
The Super-Featherweight title fight was fought as a non-title fight due to the challenger Hiroaki Suzuki coming in over weight. Thanks to Pete for notifying me!

Man ... fighting up a weight class, on short notice, in place of Duane Bang Ludwig, and knocking out a 2006 World Champion? In Japan? Thunder - you are a warrior.

I hope you get used to Japan. They appreciate warriors. You're gonna be a superstar there.
