Yukio Sakaguchi gets noticed

Monday 27 October 2008

Yesterday's Pancrase card was full of fights going the distance, there were a couple of exceptions though. Yukio Sakaguchi is son of former Japanese Pro-Wrestler Seiji Sakaguchi.

Yukio Sakaguchi's record might not be the best in the business, but there is one thing the record doesnt show. Yukio Sakaguchi ALWAYS puts up a great fight, win or lose. Yesterday he KO'ed Pancrase #4 ranked Yuichi Ikari, and he is sure to move up in those rankings (he was previously unranked).

He has said that he would like to participate in one of the New Year's shows, Dynamite or Sengoku. Will it happen? Who knows, but his application has gotten some attention in the media here. If he were to participate, dont underestimate him, his fight will not go the distance.
